Rustler – An open-world, top-down action game that pays homage to the classic GTA style, set in a hilariously historically inaccurate medieval world.
Play as The Guy
Take on the role of The Guy, whose parents never got around to giving him a proper name. Dive into a world of feudal injustice, inquisition, witch-hunting, and join The Grand Tournament. Encounter valiant yet incredibly foolish knights, and choose your path: follow twisted missions and quests or just cause mayhem in the villages and cities. Travel on foot or steal a horse, fight with a sword or wield a fancy automatic crossbow, all while enjoying a Monty Python-inspired sense of humor.
Be a Bold, Bald Thug in a Medieval Sandbox
Rustler’s world is packed with humor, anachronisms, and pop culture references. Ever been towed for parking in a “NO HORSE ZONE”? Fancy some cage fights in the Medieval Martial Arts Arena or pimping out a horse? Maybe you want to join the Round-Earthers sect? The game’s sandbox environment lets you indulge in all sorts of absurd medieval activities.
Wreak Havoc in Top-Down, Old-School Combat
Engage in combat with swords, spears, turds, and crossbows. For added efficiency, try holy hand grenades or… horses. Nothing’s more intimidating than a galloping horse or a drifting cart.
Screw Everyone Over to Win Half the Kingdom
As a poor peasant, you’ll need to get creative to win the Grand Tournament™. Form bizarre alliances, double-cross foes, and dig up dinosaur skeletons in a light-hearted, easy-to-understand story.
Hire Bards to Aid You Musically in Battle
A bard can serve as your personal soundtrack. He’ll stay by your side through intense conflicts and adjust the music dynamically based on the action. You can even request a change in tune by punching him in the face.
A Lot of Horsin’ Around
Shoot cows into the sky, dress up as a guard or even Death himself, burn piles of weed, draw fancy shapes with a plowing cart, or survive a full-on guard onslaught after causing chaos in the city. The madness of Rustler has no limits.
