Storyline

The storyline in Diablo II: Resurrected remains faithful to the original. Set in the dark, gothic world of Sanctuary, the game follows the resurgence of the Lord of Terror, Diablo, who was thought to have been defeated. Instead, he has possessed Prince Aidan and is now gathering his forces to free his brothers—Mephisto and Baal—with the ultimate goal of enslaving humanity. As the hero, it is your mission to thwart Diablo’s plans and put an end to his reign of terror once and for all.

Gameplay and Mechanics

At the start of the game, players choose from one of seven unique classes: Barbarian, Paladin, Amazon, Necromancer, Sorceress, Druid, and Assassin. Each class offers a distinct playstyle, with its own set of skills, abilities, and combat strategies.

Throughout the game, you’ll face relentless waves of monsters from the depths of Hell. As you progress, your character will level up, unlocking more powerful abilities and skills. The journey takes you through a variety of locations, each procedurally generated to offer a fresh experience with every playthrough.

In addition to the single-player campaign, Diablo II: Resurrected features an online multiplayer mode, supporting up to eight players who can team up to battle the forces of evil together.
