Soulmask is an independent multiplayer sandbox survival game developed by CampFire Studio and published by Qooland Games, launched in May 2024 as part of the Steam Early Access program.

Story and Concept

• Escape and Power: You were meant to be a sacrificial offering in a dark ritual but managed to escape. Now, wielding a mystical mask, your objective is to explore a perilous, primitive world filled with supernatural threats, human adversaries, and environmental dangers. Harness the mask’s power to possess NPCs, collect other masks, and acquire the abilities of ancient heroes to dominate your surroundings.

Gameplay Features

• Multiplayer and Customization: Engage in multiplayer sandbox experiences with support for both LAN and online play, accommodating up to 50 players. Customize your gameplay by joining private, non-official servers, allowing you and your friends to adjust parameters to fit your preferred playstyle. Single-player mode is also available for those who prefer to adventure alone.
• Tribal Management: Build and manage your own tribe, recruiting members with various roles such as warriors and craftsmen. Oversee their daily lives, including farming, harvesting, and crafting, while exploring automation options to ensure your tribe’s survival and prosperity.
• Exploration and Biomes: Venture through diverse biomes, from snowy mountains and volcanic wastelands to dense rainforests. Gather resources, uncover secrets, and explore hidden temples, ruins, and villages scattered throughout the expansive world.
• Combat and PvP: Defend your tribe and set up camps while battling dangerous monsters, rival tribes, and hostile players. Utilize a complex combat system with a variety of fighting styles, skills, special actions, and weapons.
