Story Overview

Stranded on a forbidden island brimming with the lost secrets of your people, you must navigate a world filled with danger, intrigue, and powerful foes. Invaders have also arrived, eager to steal the ancient knowledge that lies hidden. Will you race against them to unearth the treasures of this forbidden land, destroy those who threaten your secrets, or perhaps, join forces with them?

Gameplay

Geneforge 1 – Mutagen offers unprecedented freedom in how you choose to play:

• Combat or Cunning: Use magic or unleash your deadly creations to crush your enemies. Alternatively, employ stealth, trickery, and diplomacy to achieve your goals without ever lifting a weapon.
• Shape Your Army: Fight alone with an arsenal of blades, missiles, or magic, or create a legion of custom-made mutant creatures to do your bidding. Every creation is a tool in your arsenal, whether for battle, strategy, or subterfuge.
• Rival Factions: Align with a host of competing factions, each with its own goals and moral compass, or carve your own path, tearing down all who stand in your way. Defeat the final boss, or betray your allies and join forces with him.
• Expansive World: Explore over eighty diverse zones filled with hidden secrets, challenging foes, and untold treasures. Every corner of this world is ripe for exploration, offering 50+ hours of gameplay and a multitude of choices that affect the story.
