Broken Age marks Tim Schafer’s return to graphic adventures after sixteen years, following its record-breaking Kickstarter campaign. Now available in all its beautiful, hand-painted 2D glory, the game features an original orchestral soundtrack and an all-star voice cast.
This is a timeless coming-of-age tale with barfing trees, talking spoons, and the stories of two teenagers, Vella Tartine and Shay Volta, who find themselves in strangely similar predicaments despite living in radically different worlds. Players can seamlessly switch between their stories, guiding them as they take control of their lives and embark on unexpected, thrilling adventures.
They said adventure games were dead, but Broken Age shattered that myth, pulling you back into the genre with the same gripping intensity as a certain iconic scene from Carrie (spoiler alert!). Except, in this case, what you’ll be screaming is, “I love adventure games so much!”
