Story

• Unrelenting Waves of Nightmares: Experience massive, visually intense battles thanks to ‘SwarmTech’, a technology capable of rendering up to 70,000 enemy units on screen simultaneously. These Nightmares emerge from the earth’s fissures, seeking to breach your defenses and overwhelm your forces.
• Living Death Fog: Navigate a procedurally generated map shrouded in Living Death Fog, a dynamic and malevolent mist that hides enemies and drains the life of your troops. Your goal is to push back this encroaching fog and reclaim territory while enduring its malevolent effects.
• Dynamic Night Cycle: Adapt to the cycle of Day & Night. Expand and build during the day, but prepare for intense battles and hunts by night as the Nightmares become more aggressive and dangerous.
• Roguelite Malices and Blessings: Face Malices, random afflictions that complicate your survival each Death Night. Surviving these challenges allows you to choose between Blessings that enhance your army and strategy, making each playthrough unique and rewarding.
• Unique Heroes and Units: Level up and manage unique heroes to gain advantages over the dark forces. Explore a multi-faceted skill tree to enhance your units’ capabilities and prepare for the horrors that lie ahead.
• Varied Enemy Types: Battle against diverse Nightmare units, including Spitters, Crushers, and Wraiths, each with distinct abilities and combat strategies. Prepare for ambushes from wandering elite Nightmares and gather valuable Dark Essence to strengthen your defenses.
