Overview

In this thrilling co-op action-adventure, you play as an archaeologist or treasure hunter investigating mysterious structures in the Sahara Desert, newly uncovered by satellite imaging. Your research into ancient Egyptian lore reveals that these locations align with burial sites of the Mejai, elite warriors blessed—and cursed—by the high-priest Akar to protect the pharaoh in life and beyond. What was once a gift has turned into a malevolent force, and now, millennia later, the Mejai lie in wait, ready to exact their revenge.

Story

Ancient Egyptian texts recount the tale of the Mejai, warriors granted unnaturally long lives but driven mad by the very immortality they were given. They brought ruin and death wherever they went until a brave group of Egyptians managed to trap each Mejai in isolated tombs using priceless relics. While this legend may seem far-fetched, the potential historical significance—and monetary value—of these findings compels you to investigate. However, if the legends are true, the enraged Mejai have spent centuries seething in their tombs, eager to escape and unleash their fury on humanity.

You can play solo, team up with friends, or join a public match online. Whether working together or alone, you must be prepared for the dangers that await beneath the cursed sands.

Gear Up and Dive Deep

Utilize every tool at your disposal as you delve into the ancient ruins. You can choose to explore the tombs directly, braving the dangers within, or provide intel to your team from the safety of the excavation tent using advanced tech like radar systems and motion sensors to detect paranormal activity.

Unearth Ancient Relics, Treasure, and Lore

Your primary objective is to recover the ancient relics that were once used to imprison the Mejai. As you explore the tombs, you must observe paranormal phenomena to identify the Mejai while it remains in its spiritual form. Once it materializes, things become even more dangerous. Each playthrough offers one main relic to collect, but you’ll also have numerous side tasks such as gathering gold, lore, and rare artifacts.

You and your team must make tough choices:

• Split up to cover more ground, or stick together for better odds of survival.
• Get in and out quickly, or explore every corner to uncover the tomb’s secrets.
• Satisfy your greed by staying in the darkness to collect valuable treasure, or escape with your life before the Mejai finds you.

No matter your approach, you will soon realize you are not alone in the cursed ruins.

Replayability

Procedurally generated tomb layouts and randomized AI ensure that no two playthroughs are alike. Each Mejai presents unique challenges, with distinct abilities and characteristics, keeping gameplay fresh and unpredictable. Use your archaeological tools wisely to increase your survival chances.
